St. Patrick's Day – Celebrating the Green St. Patrick is believed to have driven the snakes from Ireland. Once a pagan himself, St. Patrick is one of Christianity's most widely known figures. The modern secular holiday is based on the original Christian saint's feast day also thought to be the date of the saint's death. In 1737, Irish immigrants to the United States began observing the holiday publicly in Boston and held the first St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York City in 1766. Today, the tradition continues with people from all walks and heritages by wearing green, eating Irish food, and attending parades. St. Patrick's Day is bursting with folklore; from the shamrock to the leprechaun and to pinching those that are not wearing green. 300- the 1st movie after a year in exile in canada,hehehee it's not as bad as it soundz! anyways the movie's entertaining but kinda repetitive in scene, spartan's killing bunch of enemies ,wave after wave with different costumes, the ideology that the spartans hold "to stand and fight til the end" is over done ,other thing it wasnt a roller coaster ride that i was expecting it to be but on the up side;cinema wise it's supposedly a ground breaking movie having all the scene shot in a green room.since ive been depriving myself of seeing a movie in an expensive theater, any movie would have been great for a 9.50$ ticket. i guess it's like "food taste better when you're hungry".

the storm's gone to the eastern part of canada, weather's a big deal in canada, constantly checking the weather channel before heading out the door. ahmy seems to be enjoying Squeezy's company, it's nice outside maybe ill visit the mall and see how much i could trade my psp medal of honor game for.
Messy March Storm
March Storm - Definitely not the coldest but surely the messiest mother nature have to offer for us Ontarians it causes Cancellation of Schools,Buses,and grounding of flights at Pearson Airport. Snow came first then freezing rain- made the road messy and coating everything from trees to cars to bikes.surely this storm made everyone miserable, i know i was, walking home against slushy road, windchill -4, rain and uneven road with wet shoes,socks and pants! oh well!! bright side- dont work tonight and this is a sign that spring is coming.
